Hidden Beach in Mexico

A hidden beauty in Mexico

This is a hidden wonder of nature, located Puerto Vallarta, in the Marieta Islands beach

Hidden Beach in Mexico

In this magnificent paradise, where the climate does not change during the year, one of the islands has a fascinating " hidden beach " that you enter only through a cave. There is enough space between the rock ceiling of the cave and the crystal clear waters for visitors to swim freely without having to hold your breath or use scuba gear.

The feeling you have when you get to this unique haven of tranquility and natural beauty is just wonderful. It is believed that holes like this were formed in the early 1900s when intense military activities were carried out in these islands uninhabitable . We are happy that the damage was reduced only to some caves and now people can enjoy the site without affecting more .

access to Hidden Beach in Mexico

Hidden behind a rock wall , guarded by waves, and accessible only by swimming through an underwater tunnel , Playa Escondida is one of the magical destinations of Banderas Bay . This exquisite beach is like a treasure hidden in a small and rugged archipelago within walking distance known as Marieta Islands located within walking distance of Punta de Mita on Banderas Bay . The Marieta Islands are a sanctuary for thousands of birds, including a thriving colony of blue-footed boobies ; surrounded by a marine sanctuary , with waters teeming with fish, rays , and all kinds of marine life.
